The horoscopes often delight us with their revelations about the stories of love, career, wealth and prosperity. There is nevertheless an artist who has chosen to give a different interpretation of what the stars are trying to tell us, and which is a little less pleasant too.
Shitty Horoscopesis the brainchild of Toronto-based artist Amrit Brar, also known as "Musterni". The story begins in 2015 when she announced the close release of a book in 13 chapters. The aim of this project was to transform the gaps and dark sides of each astrological sign into brief but poignant poems, accompanied by sumptuously frightening drawings of decorated skeletons. Brutally honest, but instantly verifiable, Brar's astrological messages read like a 3-hour conversation with your best friend in front of a fire.
